General terms
1.1. If the consumer, using shantitelpa.lv, purchases goods or services, such an agreement is considered a Distance Contract, which is subject to the laws of the Republic of Latvia, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Protection Law, the Cabinet of Ministers Regulations 'Regulations on Distance Contracts', as well as other applicable regulatory acts.
Making purchases
Product prices, descriptions and specifications are indicated next to each item in the online store.
To place an order, add the desired products to the Shopping cart, fill in all the required fields, choose the delivery method and confirm the purchase by making payment.
The total order amount, including delivery, will be shown before making the payment.
Payment terms
The settlement currency on the website is euro (EUR).
All payments are securely processed using the WooPayments payment system.
The online store accepts the following payment methods:
- Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Other local and international payment methods offered by WooPayments
Payment must be made before the order is processed and dispatched.
Personal data necessary for payment processing are transferred to the licensed payment institution WooPayments solely for the purpose of payment execution.
The agreement enters into force when the payment is successfully received. If the order cannot be fulfilled, the buyer will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded within 14 days.
Delivery
Goods are delivered to the following countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Denmark, United Kingdom (UK).
Delivery is provided through parcel machines and couriers (Omniva, DPD, Latvijas Pasts, etc.).
All taxes and customs duties payable at the destination are the responsibility of the buyer.
Estimated delivery time:
- Latvia: 2–5 working days
- European Union: 3–8 working days
- United Kingdom: 4–10 working days
In exceptional cases, delivery may take up to 45 calendar days, with prior notice to the customer.
Right of withdrawal and returns
The buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 14 calendar days from the moment of receipt, if the product is:
- unused, undamaged, in the original packaging with an unbroken seal.
Goods not eligible for return:
- Opened cosmetic products without protective packaging (for health and hygiene reasons)
- Gift cards
- Digital downloadable products
5.3. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the buyer must submit a withdrawal notice to info@shantitelpa.lv within 14 days after receiving the product.
5.4. Products must be returned within 14 days after sending the notice, carefully packaged to prevent damage.
5.5. Return costs are covered by the buyer, except if the product is damaged, does not match the order, or the wrong product was received.
5.6. The online store inspects returned products and refunds the purchase amount within 14 days using the original payment method.
Return or exchange of damaged/defective products
6.1. If a product is damaged, does not match the order, or delivery is incomplete, the buyer has the right to return the products for free or request an exchange.
6.2. Any damages or product discrepancies must be reported within 1 business day after delivery.
6.3. The online store will review the complaint within 5 business days and provide:
- product replacement;
- damage repair;
- refund if exchange is not possible.
6.4. In the case of natural cosmetic products, slight differences in scent or texture between production batches are not considered defects.
6.5. When returning damaged products, the online store covers the actual return costs up to 4 EUR (in Latvia) or 10 EUR (abroad) regardless of the chosen delivery method.
Consumer rights for non-conforming goods
7.1. The online store is responsible for product non-conformities or defects discovered within 6 months after delivery.
7.2. The buyer must notify about defects within 2 months by writing to info@shantitelpa.lv.
7.3. If the products are damaged, the buyer has the right to request repair, exchange, or a refund.
7.4. The online store provides a written reply to the complaint within 15 days.
Personal data processing
8.1. The online store processes only the personal data necessary for order fulfillment (name, surname, email, phone number, delivery address).
8.2. Data may be shared with delivery service providers and the WooPayments payment platform solely for the purpose of fulfilling the order.
8.3. If the client has agreed, the email may be used for Marketing messages, which can be unsubscribed from at any time by writing to info@shantitelpa.lv.
Dispute resolution
9.1. In matters not specified in these regulations, the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia in force shall apply.
9.2. Disputes between the buyer and the seller are first resolved through negotiations. If an agreement is not reached, the dispute is considered in the court of the Republic of Latvia.
9.3. The buyer has the right to contact the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR)
